Electronic Test and Instrumentation
NI’s electronic test and instrumentation products feature specialized synchronization and key software features for high-performance automated test, design, and device validation.

Oscilloscopes and digitizers measure changes in electrical signals over time. Use these products for time‐ and frequency‐domain applications as well as to build spectrum analyzers, transient recorders, and many-channel phenomena detection systems.
Frequency Counters
Frequency Counters measure frequency, period, time interval, pulse width, duty cycle, frequency ratio, phase, and more. Frequency counter products include options that are compatible with Astronics/Racal VXI-2461C, which can be used for automated test aerospace and defense applications.
Switches facilitate signal routing between instruments and devices or units under test (DUTs and UUTs). Use these products to conduct general functional tests, semiconductor parametric tests, radar tests, high-power fault insertion, and more.
Digital Multimeters measure voltage, resistance, current, capacitance, inductance, and temperature. Some models also have an isolated digitizer mode. Use these products to test consumer electronics, fuel cells, aerospace production, and more.
VirtualBench All-in-One Instruments
VirtualBench All-in-One Instruments offer efficient circuit design, debugging, and validation by combining a mixed-signal oscilloscope, a function generator, a digital multimeter, a DC power supply, and digital I/O into a PC- or iPad-connected device.
Digital Instruments generate and acquire high-speed digital waveforms for transmitting data, communicating with devices under test, or testing digital interfaces. These instruments are ideal for semiconductor characterization and production, interfacing to LVDS and TTL digital electronics, and testing the functionality of high-speed serial links.
Power Supplies and Loads power devices under test (DUTs) such as RF power amplifiers and cellular handsets. The power supply takes in AC power and delivers DC voltage with a fixed polarity, either positive or negative, to its load.
GPIB, Serial, and Ethernet products communicate between your PC and stand-alone or modular instruments. You can use the GPIB (IEEE 488), Serial (RS232, RS485, and RS422), or Ethernet interfaces to create instrument control systems.
Waveform Generators
Waveform Generators produce large, complex analog waveforms in a sequential manner or using real-time streaming. These instruments are ideal for applications in scientific research and testing of consumer electronics, automotive, and aerospace/defense.
Source Measure Units are high-precision, high-accuracy DC instruments that can both source and simultaneously measure voltage and current. Additionally, LCR Meters can measure the inductance, capacitance, and resistance (LCR) of electronic equipment.
FlexRIO Custom Instruments and Processing
FlexRIO Custom Instruments and Processing products provide high-performance I/O and powerful FPGAs for applications that require more than standard instruments offer. Program these products with LabVIEW to create solutions for whatever challenge you’re facing.
