Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior LabVIEW Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team, responsible for tackling a variety of projects. As we take on more customers and projects than ever before, we are hiring at every level and need an experienced leader to captain the team. Your main responsibility will be designing and developing custom systems for various applications within multiple industries. You will play a critical role in developing LabVIEW code and configuring hardware to bring Automated Test and Embedded Control systems to completion. You will also be responsible for LabVIEW code review, de-bugging, and overall system support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM-related field or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of Test System or Embedded System development

  • LabVIEW certification (CLD, CLED, CLA) or equivalent experience with LabVIEW

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project development as the Project Manager.

  • Take the lead on challenging code development and debugging.

  • Architect and design projects from scratch in LabVIEW.

  • Interface with all forms of NI hardware and third-party hardware using multiple technologies.

  • Independently solve challenges such as interfacing with new equipment, computations or algorithms, and demanding customer applications.

  • Develop code tools designed for simplicity and reuse.

  • Serve as a mentor to other engineers by providing training, debug assistance, and demonstrating best practices of engineering, design, and industry.

  • Visit customer sites and host on-site customer visits to build relationships and gain a deeper understanding of project requirements.

Other responsibilities

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to work in-office full-time in San Diego, CA

  • Must be able to lift 20-50 pound objects 5-10 times per day

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Job Type:  Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Schedule

  • 8 hour shift
