The NI-Industrial Communications for IEC 61850 instrument driver is a set of functions that you can use to create LabVIEW applications on Windows computers. The driver supports unlimited deployment of these LabVIEW functions over TCP/IP networks to PXI Controllers or CompactRIO Single-Board Controllers for field applications. You can view, load, and validate SCL files as well as transfer files between server and client. The driver also works with data class, data set, control class, and reporting class models. The NI-Industrial Communications for IEC 61850 driver supports unlimited deployments to the following NI real-time hardware targets: CompactRIO, Single-Board RIO, and PXI. The driver is not licensed for deployment on Windows-based computers.
