The NI PXI RIO IF Transceiver Modules provide high-performance intermediate frequency (IF) signal transmission and reception combined with FPGA-based processing for advanced test and research applications. Designed to work with NI RIO and FlexRIO FPGA technology, these modules enable deterministic, low-latency RF and signal processing within PXI systems. Built on the PXI Express architecture, RIO IF Transceiver modules deliver high-bandwidth data streaming and precise synchronization with other PXI instruments. Their programmable FPGA resources allow engineers to implement custom modulation, demodulation, filtering, and protocol handling directly in hardware, making them ideal for real-time and hardware-timed applications. NI PXI RIO IF Transceivers are widely used in wireless communications research, radar and electronic warfare prototyping, spectrum monitoring, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems.
