C-Series Module, Relay

Relay modules provide electrically controlled switches that let you connect or disconnect signals, power, or loads under software control. They're used for automating switching in test and control systems.

Specs include the number of relays, contact type (SPST, SPDT), voltage and current ratings, and lifetime (measured in switching cycles). Some modules feature latching relays that hold their state without continuous power.

Relay modules are ideal for automating repetitive switching tasks, routing test signals, or controlling external devices. They add flexibility to CompactDAQ or CompactRIO systems by integrating switching directly with measurement and control.
