PCI Module, FlexRIO Digitizer

The NI PCI FlexRIO IF Transceiver Modules provide high-performance intermediate frequency (IF) signal generation and acquisition for advanced RF and signal processing applications. Designed to pair with NI FlexRIO FPGA technology, these PCI-based modules enable deterministic, low-latency control of transmit and receive signal paths within host PC–based test systems. Built on the PCI Express architecture, FlexRIO IF Transceiver modules support high-bandwidth data streaming between the IF hardware and the host while leveraging on-board FPGA resources for real-time processing. This allows engineers to implement custom modulation schemes, demodulation, channel emulation, and proprietary signal processing algorithms directly in hardware. NI PCI FlexRIO IF Transceiver hardware is widely used in wireless communications research, radar and electronic warfare prototyping, spectrum monitoring, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems. Its modular and programmable design provides the flexibility, performance, and repeatability required for evolving RF test and R&D environments.
