PXI Module, Switch MUX
Switch Multiplexer (MUX) modules route multiple input signals to a single output path, letting one instrument measure many channels in sequence.
They are defined by number of channels, voltage and current capacity, and switching speed. Higher-density modules reduce hardware costs by sharing one instrument across many test points.
In PXI, MUX modules are used to automate repetitive measurements, such as checking many voltages with one DMM. They streamline wiring and make test systems more efficient.
