PXI Module, Analog Output

PXI Analog Output modules generate voltages or waveforms to simulate sensors, drive actuators, or provide test signals. They are the PXI version of a function generator, designed for automation.

Key specs are channel count, update rate, resolution, and output ranges. Higher update rates create smoother signals, and higher resolution gives finer control. Some devices also allow custom or arbitrary waveforms.

In PXI, outputs can be synchronized with inputs or other modules. This lets engineers drive signals and capture responses at the same time, ideal for closed-loop testing and automated validation.
