C-Series Module, Synchronization

Synchronization modules provide timing and trigger signals to align multiple measurement modules in a system. They ensure all I/O devices operate in sync.

Key specs include supported timing features (clocks, triggers, GPS or IRIG inputs) and the number of devices that can be synchronized. Some modules provide nanosecond-level synchronization.

These modules are critical for distributed systems, vibration testing, or power analysis where multiple signals must be captured in exact time alignment. They make large, multi-module CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems function as one coherent instrument.
