The TestCareVault™ appliance arrives pre-configured to receive backups from any number of systems within your local network.  The server is shipped with mirrored 500GB hard-drives to allow you to create complete system backups
Configuring a backup is very simple.  An agent is installed on each machine, and the backup wizard helps you choose the best time to backup each machine, setting options for complete or incremental backups.  Backups can be scheduled to both a network appliance as well as a local partition on the hard drive.  Now you're ready: if damage occurs to one of your systems, recovery can be done in one of two ways.
If the hard-drive is still running, press F10 while booting to launch the recovery wizard.  Within just a few minutes the entire system will be restored to the state of the last backup. On the other hand, if the hard-drive fails, the network backup comes to the rescue.  First replace the hard-drive, then insert a CDROM to boot into the backup wizard.  The software will contact the network appliance and will accomplish the same recovery.
