Features of the SICK OD Sensors

●   Detect the presence or absence of a specific item or feature, or measure a feature’s size or magnitude
●   Give accurate measurement values of even the most dark, transparent, or reflective materials
●   Have anti-blooming characteristics so that high-gloss surfaces can be measured with no blinding effect
●   Contain non-contact sensors that are easy for users to implement and do not require calibration
●   Provide a robust solution, protective against mechanical forces due to metal housing and high mechanical tensile strength
●   Come in a compact form-factor, can be set in any direction, and used over 90 degrees
●   Display LEDs visible from the front, top and back, allowing for easy use

●   Measure distances from 24mm
●   Take measurements with .02 micron resolution
●   Achieve a response time from 1 ms
●   Use analog outputs of 0-10 volts and 4-20mA, RS-422 serial outputs, or switching outputs only
●   M-12 quick disconnect feature to easily change out sensors and reduce downtime.
